Hey folks...miss you guys and gals...I'm a million miles away taking care of my dying dad...diagnosed with pancreatic, liver and duodenal cancer 3 weeks ago.....all 7 girls are here...he's been home a week now...and it's just a matter of time...he hasn't eaten in over 6 weeks and has not had the energy to drink more than a couple sips of liquid a day...he has gone from a healthy 130 lb man to a mere 90 lbs in under 2 weeks..he is not a candidate for any type of chemo/radiation/surgery because of his age 88yrs...he continues to bleed and there's nothing that can be done....asking for your prayers for him that his passing will be pain free...asking for prayers for my mom and the rest of the family....I'm not sure when I'll be back home...I can't leave him...but my kids are basically on their own back in Beaumont...I'm torn as to what I should do but I strongly feel my duty as a daughter and as a nurse is to be at his bedside and give him back a little of what he has given me all these years...anyway...I'm at one of those internet cafe's here in Trinidad and my time is short....will keep you updated ...thanks ...and much love....Haze....

Thanks for all the prayers  much appreciated...no change yet...it's been over a week since his last intake...I'm not sure how long the body can survive without any sustenance, he's lucid at times and others he's in another world..very minimum of pain which is a blessing....I rescheduled my flight from tomorrow to next Wednesday but that's subject to be changed...Al I may be looking for a job when I get back....but I feel this is where I need to be, this is my priority...if the jobs not there when I get back I will find another...anyway, thanks again for your prayers...till next time...Love Haze

I hope she doesn't mind, but hazey could use some prayer for her wrists - saw her yesterday wearing wraps on both wrists awaiting carpal tunnel surgery on both
