I want to see you guys there but more than that send someone you know in Houston/Spring/Conroe/Galveston that doesn't normally attend church, it is for them!!!!!!!!!

As per usual God made it a great success

Lemme give you some background. The church, called "The Little Country Church" was started two years ago last January. By this summer we were in two services in a little building that would hold maybe 100 folding chairs. The church is located on the grounds of a Christian camp. By fall we were bent on expansion. There was an open concrete pavillion on the property that would suit Gods sheep so the men of the church got together and closed it in, carpet, lights, plumbing etc. We started having services in it around late March.

Fast forward to this weekend. Mom was sitting in church with the kiddos and as soon as Mike Warnke was introduced by Pastor she felt her breath get taken away and the tears just poured. Mike had not even made it to the stage and turned around. Mom said that when she could stop the flood of tears and see again she saw several others weeping too, and no one had yet spoken!!!

I was in the kitchen cooking the BBQ and could not see or hear the service (because the kitchen is the camps cafateria) The best count that was recieved was around 750 people had showed up and about 30 of our folks were standing in the back to make room!!!! When Mike gave the alter-call 50 people came to Christ!!!!!! God is flat ecstatic over what is happpening in the woods of east Texas!!!!

To GOD be all the credit and the Glory!!!!!

Wow! What a GRAND report!!! I am actually in driving distance to have come to the festivities....however, I had to work. But, for some reason, I had the goings on....on my mind for some reason.

So very glad for the harvest!

I can remember, as a young person....that we all loved Mike Warnke. I was actually so moved by one of his stories that I listened to it, over and over again....then finally wrote it down to show people as a witness tool. I still have it, someplace.

Do take time to keep events posted, Bro. Some of us that love the adventure of being road patties....might surprise you one day!

The "Hot August Nights" 11th Street Road Rally is this evening if you're local and would like to come - there'll be hundreds of muscle cars, big, little, and unusual vehicles.

Our church is the major turn around for the south-end of the cruise, we'll have BBQ and a couple worship bands will be playing.

yep, it was hot, but fun - took nearly an hour to make the normally 3 minute drive from my house to the church and back

We have something similar here every year. This year it's next week end. It's called the Dream Cruise or Woodward Dream Cruise. Woodward is a street that begins or ends depending on direction being traveled in downtown Detroit at the rivers edge. (Detroit River) It doesn't actually take place downtown but further north through several cities. Back in the fifties and sixties young people used to cruise Woodward and meet at several drive-ins. The food not movie kind. Now pwople with hot rods and street cars of the time from all over the country gather and the viewers gather for miles to see the cars. They televise it and I think even nationally. If you need to be somewhere better plan another route those days. You can walk faster than the traffic moves.

I've heard of that cruise, it's huge!

Stand with us as we believe that God will find and send 1000 people that do not normally attend church or that do not have a right relationship with HIM out past a gate in the woods to a place that God can talk to them.
