Thank you Amy. Yes, spinny it's a steroid but NOT the kind that athletes and others illegally use. I've had to take medrol packs in the past. It begins with a heavy dosage and gradually lowers over a week or so. My past experience with prednisone has been, insomnia, constant hunger and thirst, weight gain and bloating, mood changes, agression, sweating, and others. That was just short term use. I'm praying to be spared since this med will likely be lifetime. At present it's 20mg twice a day. Eventually to do it's thing the dosage will increase.

Least now I can commiserate with the ladies and hot flashes. Have them since taking it today and feel like I wanna crawl out of my own skin. In a way it's like taking speed.

God bless you UKC. Ya know being a believer in healing , i never give up. i have heard so many times "incurable disease and fatal disease only to see complete healing. I have seen Dr's dumbfounded and not able to explain what once was and now isnt. please dont let go of the promise of healing it is scriptural and it is a fact. i do not know why God heals some and not others but I do know he heals .
I for one am praying for your healing. because i believe.

Thanks Nabster. Whether it's cure or not each is a life lesson I think. Maybe especially the non cures who never lose faith. It's all good, with the life I lead I'm way ahead of the game already. Besides, as a friend of mine says, "heaven don't want me and hell's afraid I'll take over." Gotta stay here I guess.

I am glad of the ways you find to praise in your trials! I can sypmathize with you on the prednisone. It speeds me up with sleeplesness etc. I have had it for skin stuff before.

I will focus my prayers for you.
