We had the rehearsal tonight... so many people around and wanting your attention I don't think we really got much practice in It should go ok, there's no time-limit so going slow and we should be ok.

Take your time, it's a whole new beginning.

No need to rush through this time in your life. And make sure you enjoy your reception.
It goes by soooo fast. Savor the moments and keep the memories.

hmm, I think I have been to one of the nicest and most elegant weddings that I have attended. As you can see by the picture the bride was stunning. If there was one thing that I came away from it all (from a spectator point of view) is that it was very relaxed and unhurried. I have been to a couple of weddings that were serious stress factories. (though I am sure the bride and groom were feeling a tad of pressure )

The ceremony was very nice and they had someone playing acoustical guitar softly, almost constantly in the background that was a nice touch. It was short and succinct and they didn't keep the wedding party at the alter until someone dropped. Allen did spend a LOT of time making sure his tux laid "just right" tho'. Out of the people I know I only saw Allen's brothers and Jusselin at the wedding.

The reception was awesome! Just about the whole Praise Cafe gang was there that was local. I bumped into Foreverchanged and her new hubby and got to meet Amylou and her hubby and Haze for the first time. There is a group picture somewhere we'll get posted! It was real nice. the Atrium at the hotel was around 6 stories and they had a tiered waterfall that came down from the 2nd floor. The food was excellent and there was actually enough The cakes were disasterproof and REALLY tasty. (ie no leaning towers) The funniest thing I saw was that beside the grooms cake there was a stack of "Little Debbie Zebra cakes" ROFLOL


(and I did call embie to gloat on the way home )

Hey steve you so forgot to tell every one that you met yourstruly for the first time too .... and it was a cool wedding i met Amy lou and steve for the first time... i am on a diet so i watched steve eat his german chocolate cake while i just sipped on my coffee....lol....and amy lou was as up beat as always...i met her husband at the bachelor party and didnt even know it... We had a really good time ....but the funniest thing was we were looking for people on the site but didnt know what they really looked like....of course i recognized steve as soon as he tapped on my shoulder but we were thinking about getting a banner next time saying "I'm from praisecafe!!!" it was an awsome wedding I've never seen my uncle Allen cry before... and you could tell they were happy.....oh yeah....Right about the time the preacher said you may Kiss the bride....one of my cousins (Allens nephew) said ....EwWWwWW....really loud....lol....God Bless you Al and Mel....we love you guys
