Today hasn't been the best of days. Just before going to cardiac rehab my dad called to tell me my aunt had died last night. Please pray for her soul and my dad and his sister. They are all that are left in their family.

So I go to rehab and have to stop exercising because of chest pain and it radiating down both arms. It got better after resting. That was the end of that session. My cardiologist is just one floor above. I went to make an appointment and they saw me right away. The ECG was good, b/p was elevated and they scheduled me for a stress test tomorrow morning to see if the blockages are closing up again inspite of two stent insertions the end of last year. Thanks.

Thank you Sarah. Well y'all don't know definitely but I do know my body. Completed the test and waited for the second set of pics. After they were taken I was asked to wait to make sure they were good. (techs) make really bad liars and they keep forgetting I've been there and done that. Long story short. I've been told to NOT return to rehab until further notice and that they set an 8:oo appointment for me with my cardiologist tomorrow morning. Any bets there's bypass surgery in somone's future? Still need prayers please.

Thanks guys and Steve that is so cool. Ya need to get a little enthusiastic about parenting though. Kids pick up on resentment. LOL BTW you sound about as gleeful as the little one.;-)

Well, an update that really isn't. After yesterdays visit the Cardiologist said he'd like to do another cath today. Because of my aunt and it NOT being life threatening ( I guess) I didn't want to bother with that stuff this week. So, netx Thursday, another cath to see if it's restenosing at the stent site or if it's a new narrowing. Depending on what the cath shows, there could be a second cath on the following Tuesday. There's a new procedure called Brakke (sp?) Treatment. It's the addition of radiation to the cath, ango, stent scenario. It's supposed to help assure no restenosis at the site. Bypass isn't totally out of the picture but it's a last resort. Sooooo, got another week to obsess about it. God is good. lol Hey obsessing beats the alternative I guess, don't know never died before. LOL.

Thanks for the update Kris Take it easy in the meantime, get plenty of rest. I'll keep you in my prayers.
