I have gotten very frustrated with work lately...more than usual. I am considering giving my 2 weeks notice, but I wanted to see if anyone knows if anyone is hiring.

First I will pray that God open all the right doors and close and lock all the wrong ones smile That you have peace with HIS will and that you be put in the place where He can best use you.

Proverbs 19:11
A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense.

Proverbs 25:15
Through patience a ruler can be persuaded, and a gentle tongue can break a bone.

Ecclesiastes 7:8
The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride.

2 Corinthians 6:6
in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love;

Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Colossians 1:11
being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully

Colossians 3:12
Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

James 5:7
Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains.

James 5:10
Brothers, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.

Agree with Steve, your best bet would be to find a job, then turn in your notice. My experience has been that it could be months after you turn an app in before you actually get the job. Pray that a door opens if it's time to move on, then turn in your notice. It's much easier to find a job when you already have one, and you don't end up taking whatever you can find rather than the job for you. smile Your future employer will also ask if you need to give notice before you leave your current job - always say yes, at least 1 wek if not 2 - it's a trick question to see how you respect those who employ you, never burn bridges if you can help it too.

Lex,

I'm not sure what your situation is at work, but I can empathize. I want to put in my 2 weeks notice at least 2-3 X each school year because I get so incredibly frustrated.

I may know of some jobs available, but I need to know what you're looking for.

...And ditto to what Steve and Allen had to say.

Okay Okay. Everything has cleared up to an extent. The big thing that set me over the edge has anyway. (Good thing I don't work for the post office huh?)
