Every 20 seconds, someone turns up missing--or so the statistics say... Right now, the count is up to 5 (I think) of children kiddnapped within the past three weeks. One escaped, two turned up dead, and one was found by police--two are still missing, not including the beautiful Elizabeth Smart.

It really sickens me--and after watching the viewing to one of the girls who died, I'm very sad... The horror these families are going through--I don't know what I'd do if anyone close to me were kidnapped. Anyway, my heart goes out to these families, and I ask that you pray--as children seem to be turning up missing left and right.

...Casey Williamson was found dead today. I'm actually in tears. As awful as it sounds--I hope the man who did this gets torn to shreds by rabid dogs.

It is a very sad and horrifying scenario Ashley. All we can do is pray for the families who have lost children, and pray that parents and family members of all children have been awakened to the fact that we live in a very sinful and very depraved world. And that we can not take one thing for granted when it comes to the safety and protection of our children.

It scares the heck out of me... I'm at a loss for words.

I heard about that too. It almost getting to where you can't even let your kids out of your sight. That is so scary, what is the world coming too that kids are becoming so many victims of crime.

That is satan's delight, the destruction of the family. The family is God's perfect will. satan will go to any length to turn people from His will. Not only is there a tragic senselss death, but the ramifications will go on forever. One spouse will blame another. Guilt will be so overwhelming that there may be an eventual divorce or worse, depression, suicide. The remaining children will get what's left of their parents, which isn't much in situations like this.

Yes, satan is the ruler of this earth. That's why it is so important that we cling to what is true and righteous, and follow Jesus every day. Don't even give that punk devil a foothold.

Me too, remember this verse when you pray: "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." Pray for protection over your children and that these people are caught soon.
