Yes, my Emalie was born with Premature lungs. I delivered her at St. Mary's Hospital in Port Arthur...but a few short hours after she made her entry into the world, they discovered she was having problems. St. Mary's didn't have a neonatal ICU. So, she was transported to Park Place Hospital. That is where Allen and Bernice took such wonderful care of her. It didn't matter what time of the day or night that I would call from St. Marys to check on her...which ever one answered the phone seemed glad that I called and happy to give me an update. They even sent me polaroid snapshots to tape to my IV pole as an incentive to recover and get discharged so that I could go see her. She was six days old before I was allowed to hold her for the first time. Several years later, our paths crossed again with our Cruel D....and we ended up going to the same church for a while. Then I moved to Louisiana. Emalie looks at her baby pictures, often....I don't know why...but she does. And when she realized that Allen was the man in one of her baby pictures...she ran up to him and gave him a big hug. She was six, I guess...so the hug was around his knees.

Its kind of wierd how paths seem to cross....and how people's lives are touched.

I recently saw a juniorhigh/ highschool classmate at the hospital. Way back when I began working at St. Elizabeth I took care of her twins when they were born. She was there because one of them were having their first baby - my classmate is now a grandmother

A new person we hired last week has a grandbaby having heart surgery Wednesday, please add her to your prayer list.

Congrats... I went through five weeks of interviews before I got one here, oh so many years ago now. I was about to die eating Ramen by the time they actually hired me LOL

4th interview went well today hehe, not sure how many more people I will need to interview with, I guess as many as necessary

Thank you guys I interviewed twice today, once with the chief compliance officer (somewhere in the top 3-4 in the company) and the vice president of the investment company that owns the company - both went well I feel comfortable about the integrity and character of the organization and believe this can be the company I can retire with.

I believe (pending my criminal background check passing ), I'll be starting next week I may do some work for them at an office in Waco while they get ready for State Survey first while we get our office ready
