I don't have the answer Aleina, and right now, no answer will comfort you. But the Lord is on His throne, and always Sovereign.

It's in these awful times that we must cling to Him the most. Satan waits for us to weaken, to doubt, and then he moves in. For us on the outside looking in, it's so much easier to come up with reasons, but when it's happening in our lives, we loose all understanding.

All I can say right now is to turn it over to the Lord and let Him carry your burden. When you are free of that, then you will be able to minister to your friend. I will be praying for all of you.

"Why?" is always a valid question...having lost 2 sisters in 2 car accidents, I still ask "why?" after 16 and 5 years.

I won't say more right now because it will seem cold and callous and that's really not the way it is meant... as embie has said tho, God is still sovereign.

I never knew that either Allen, and I guess it's never too late to say sorry. I'm praying that when you think on them now, it's only the joy you remember and not the pain.

I haven't had a tragedy strike. I can say that when turmoil comes than all you can/must do is cling to God with all you have, because in times of chaos He is all you have .....

I am so sorry, It has been a while sincei have been on this site and this is the first thread i read. i am engaged to get married and it make me think long and hard about ALL the people i love, those here at stand and those i neglect to keep in touch with.

i cant imagine the pain, i wont say anything anyone else hasnt said, just that after this tragedy, may we ALL appreciate those that are dear to us. you never know .. i never know !
