I was gonna go visit my friend this weekend, but she had to cancel it because her dad is sick. She had just came back from her aunt's funeral when she found out that her dad had been taken to the hospital. At first they didn't know what was wrong; they suspected anything from leukemia to gall-bladder infection. After an xray they found clots of blood in his lung and he is on medication for that right now.......

She has been working nights at a nursing home for a couple of months to make more $$$ and now she has to take a month off probably, because she wants to stay with her parents until after Christmas.

Please say a prayer for her dad and the rest of her family. She is very dear to me. Thanks.

Good news! The doctors found a virus that was causing his illness. He is now on meds and he will probably be back home in a couple of days My friend will come back home on Friday and she doesn't have to take a month off from work (she has some financial problems and really need the money).
