I have been unemployed for a while now... Fortunately we here in Sweden get $$$ from the government to cover rent, food etc. And we have to go to the employment agency every two weeks. I have done that, but nothing... Applied for A LOT of jobs but the computer business is not happening over here unless you are some major expert on highly advanced programming.....

My landlord doesn't like that I am employed so he said I could probably work for his company doing intranet stuff. He hasn't come back to me though.... Then my friend who owns a record store said she needed some help in a couple of weeks. I'd love that, but we haven't signed any papers yet..... And finally, I did a website for a company in Chicago (my friend works there) and when she was looking for an ISP, the guy from the ISP really liked their site and asked her who did it? His company hires consults all over the world and my friend said he was interested in my work. I checked their website and the requirements are not something I can live up to.... and I don't feel very confident about it either...

If you could say a little prayer... it would be appreciated

Well I had a talk to my friend with the record store. All of a suddent she doesn't need me working there.... but she didn't have the decency to tell me!! I emailed her and asked if they were done with the renovation; no answer and tonight I found out they opened the store a couple of weeks ago.....

Haven't heard anything from my landlord either. Or the rock band I was supposed to do a site for.

Then I get an email from a friend's coworker (I did their site) and apparently he had his daughter, who is taking a web authoring class (??), remaking it and now he wants me to implement those changes on the current site FOR FREE........

Seems like I am not supposed to get a new job

I applied for a one year study program and I got accepted!! One year with computers and nothing but computers

But then I realized I probably couldn't afford it... We get money from the government but that is only about $200/month. That does cover my rent (am I lucky who could trade my old apt for this new much cheaper one or what!!) but not basics like food and stuff, so I will have to take a full study loan Which I wouldn't be able to pay for if I don't have a steady income next year

So today was my last day working at the post office, and the manager said goodbye and left but then came back and asked me if I could work more during school breaks and stuff! She almost promised me that I could work the entire summer so I will be able to afford the second school semester!!! YAY

And that MIGHT mean that I will book another trip to USA - we have our annual MFC convention at the end of July and I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go!!

Praying that all this works out, and that the study program is FUN and gets me a great job where I will have nice coworkers and make a ton of money
