Hi my name is Magan my friends call me May i have a prayer request i'm going to be a summer missionary this summer acutally it is called a Sojourner i'll be gone all summer and this is the first time for me for being a student missionary i'm kind of scared and i feel totally unprepared and unworthy to be doing something so awesome for GOD i feel a calling from GOD to be a missionary for life so please pray that i can overcome these feelings and just serve JESUS

You'll do great!! It says in HIS word that He has not given us the spirit of fear...
The feelings you are probably feeling are anticipation to do HIS will. It is the Spirit growing inside of you to cover you on your journey.
The first mission trip I went on I thought we were going in as the "great educated hope", but what God showed me was that if you'll prepare your heart you will receive as much if not more than you will give.

I want to hear all about it when you get back

you better believe you'll be covered in prayer in little ol' Southeast Texas...the first verse that popped into my head was the same one whit-dawg used--2 timothy 1:7..."for God has not given May (you) a spirit of fear but He has given May (you)a spirit of power, a spirit of love, and a sound mind". Just remember God's strength is perfect ("May (you) can do all things in Christ who gives you strength") and He is with you always ("he sticketh closer than a brother...") God is faithful...always has been, always will be! And, please keep us informed on how everything is going. can't wait to hear...
