Ok, I've watched the news and have some updates concerning abortion cases:
1). The Supreme Court just the other day struck down a Nebraska law banning partial-birth abortion. They said the Nebraska law violates women's constitutional rights by imposing an "undue burden" on their decision to end pregnancies. The decision passed by a 5-4 margin. The ruling did not immediately affect 29 similar laws in other states.BUT, in my opinion, this is just a start if one state cannot govern its own laws, many other states will lose the choice and they too will not be allowed to ban partial-birth abortions. I have a feeling nebraska won't be the only state to face this ruling.
2).There is a drug that is under FDA approval. It is called Mifepristone, it is a perscription drug that is effective the first 7 weeks of pregnancy. What is does is that it blocks a woman's production of progesterone, a hormone needed to sustain a fertilized egg. When the drug is FDA approved, women will be able to go privately to their doctor and get a prescription. Imagine how many abortions would go unnoticed or unheard?
3). The last Supreme court decision invloved upholding a Colorado law creating a "zone of safety" around abortion clinics. This decision passed by a 6-3 margin. now, i do agree with this decision because I don't think bombing a abortion clinic because they perform abortions is justified. Killing nurses and doctors in the clinic because they do abortions is a contradiction of what these facists believe.

Guys, this a very serious issue. we really need to pray and pray about this. Atleast pray that the Supreme Court will not take away other states rights to ban partial-birth abortions, and that this abortion drug will not be approved. I take this issue to heart as Im sure all of you do. I cannot accept any kind of abortion. I see no justification in it and no one can change my mind about it. Please guys! pray for this. The Children Cry

The jungle is dark, twisted and deep
The nameless beast stalks with shining eye.
Fear is his game, and he plays to keep
And nobody hears the children's cry.

The search for self will never end

Groping for pleasure, greedily grasping
Eat or be eaten, to love is to die.
Harsh heartless laughter, cold claws clutching
The victims of all, the children cry.

In the stark sterile streets, in their red brick cells
Insanity inherited, believing a lie
Promises broken like bone-dry wells
The demons rejoicing, while the children cry.

Shining white lab coats and razor-sharp steel
A heartbeat unheard as a soft saddened sigh.
Unplanned and unwanted, not too young to feel
A cruel choice to silence the children's cry.

Very few things make me angry. Let them hurt each other and themselves, and I will say that is their choice. But leave the children alone.

About a Clinic

I hear relentless cries ring out as pain fades into numb.
I sense the dissappointment and the vexing pain to come.
In pairs of two they enter in, but only one will leave.
And the one who does escape too late knows she has been decieved.
If walls could speak, the horror stories each would have to tell.
For the things that happen here reflect a vision straight from Hell.
The anguished wails, the gnashing teeth, the weeping soon will follow.
What once was full to overflow will now leave this place hollow.
God wishes He could turn His head, but He is forced to see
His masterpiece destroyed before it had the chance to be.
An echoing of satan's choir will taunt in voices clear:
"Rejoice, my friends! She once was lost, but now she's disappeared!"
The ever-present stench of flesh, but even stronger still,
The smell of rotting souls as the stalker looms in for the kill.
A flash of light on cold hard steel, one burden is now gone
And in it's place now one far greater weight is taken on.
Without a chance in the name of choice these lives are lost in vain.
For convenience sake the innocent are taken here and slain.
When all is said and done the bride of death will meet her groom.
As the walls--such silent watcher--witness sealings of the tomb.
Fire, fire, everywhere, and not a drop to drink!
The blood of innocence will feed the thirsty mouths, I think.
Two choices here both for the soul: to die or to grow cold.
What else could you expect? For here, the right to kill is sold.

I wrote that at the end of my senior year. Only later did I find out that I was 2 months pregnant when I wrote it...

Wow thats about all I can say for the poetry.


I have a lot to say on abortion though I think this probably ain't the right forum section for it. Just a word of caution I have recently recieved conviction from the Holy Spirit after reading an article on one type of oral contraceptive (I will dig it up) the medicine in it prevents a previously fertilized egg from embedding in the uterine wall. While it prevents pregnancy per-se the egg has already been fertilized..... So in effect it is an abortive measure. I will as I said find our the info for you all.

Yes, she was WELL protected. Alot of things could have hurt her when I was carrying her...and I'm ashamed to say that I am one of them...and yet she seemed to have a shield around her. She's a miracle baby!
