Most of the stuff I've already gotten before today, but you need to switch that to 8 short-sleeve shirts, and 2 long-sleeve shirts. It's more hot than cold in Taiwan. I also need on a two-year supply of deodorant, since apparently I won't be able to get any over there. Found that sort of strange.

If you haven't gotten shoes yet, I'd suggest Doc Marten's. My Doc Marten's lasted my whole mission and another three years after the mission before I wore through the sole.

The deoderant thing is a trip. However I have heard of female missionaries who've had to pack along an 18 month supply of feminine hygeine products before due to their distination.

On a serious note. you don't happen to know Brooke Wilberger do you? She was a freshman at BYU last year and was abducted last night from an apartment complex where she was working while at home in Oregon visiting her parents. I know BYU's big and all, but I thought on the off chance that you did know her, you'd want to know about it.

No, I don't know her, but that is bad news whether you know someone or not.

I haven't gotten my shoes yet. I have to get slip-on shoes, since I'll be taking them off at every door step in Taiwan. It's pretty hard to find sturdy slip-on shoes, but I was considering some Doc Marten's. I've also heard Ecco has some sturdy slip-ons. Shoes are basically the last thing left that I need to get, so I'll be spending the next couple of weeks searching hard for some.

Shoes! Consider this, you will likely spend more time in them than you do in your bed.... People will spend thousands on a good matress and cheap out on their shoes, go figure!

Got a suggestion you just might want to checkout Eric. BIRKENSTOCK! They certainly aren't fasionable in fact down right ugly. But, they mold to your foot giving a perfect fit. Some people pay a lot of money for an orthotic to put in their shoe, Birks become the orthotic. There are enough types that they may even accomodate the often off and on issue you mentioned. Almost forgot, they wear like iron. If you happen to have a smaller foot like I do, since they are unisex/androgenous in appearance you can save money by buying the womens. Some are pretty girlie though. LOL

I'll try to see if I can find some. However, I can't get anything online right now, since I only have two weeks left, and I can't take my chances on getting the right size. Unfortunately, my feet are quite large. I've also been informed by many people that I won't be able to get shoes over in Taiwan because of my big feet. Everybody over there pretty much have small feet, as well as small bodies, which means I'll stand out being over 6 feet myself.
