Today was a GREAT DAY!!!

*I GOT OUT OF SCHOOL!!!! mwahahahahaha....
*I spent the whole day with my dad. he is hilarious, and i love him lots!!!
*I tried out for a music scholarship at SWOSU. Mr. Hull is a hilarious guy! he knows what he's talking about, too!
*I had an opportunity to play with the wind ensemble! 'twas FUN! it was great meeting the people there! it was a BIG difference from playing in a high school band.
*when Dr. South introduced me to the wind ensemble, i got a round of applause...*blushes*
*I ate at ALFREDO'S! Yummy!! and for dinner, Scholotzskey's Deli in the City.
*I saw Mr. Haas!!! he's one of my favorite band directors of all time! what an inspiration and great guy!
*I saw other band camp band directors!! =)
*I was allowed to drive (hehe) to and from Weatherford....MWAHAHAHAHAHA...IN MY brand spankin' new HIGHLANDER!!!
*I actually passed the people on the highway...i was invincible...i was bigger than them...i drove better than they did...haha, j/k! but it felt good being higher than the other cars...=)
*i'm listening to the new Switchfoot song on the radio...'tis a GREAT song!
*i could pick up the new station in Tulsa and hear a brand new dcTalk song...and i thought that i knew everything about them! i never even knew that they had recorded another song!! lol
*I came home statisfied that i spent the whole day doing something that i enjoyed...driving, playing my clarinet, getting away from it all, checking out guys (HAHA, j/k!!! ), talking to friends from BAND CAMP!, and just not worrying about anything. what bliss...
*i've written several poems in the past couple of days...i like having these moments when poems just flow out of my heart...check out my poems if you want at www.poetry.com just go in and type in my name (Divelbiss, Sarah) and my poems should pop up!
*now i'm relaxing, just chillin', and for the first time in weeks, i'll be able to sleep in tomorrow!! lookin' forward to it!

OH!!! I forgot to tell y'all thanks!!! i was excited to find the letter from Baylor!!

here is an email i sent to the girl that will be my roommate if i go to SWOSU. it's about my constant switching of decisions of where i want to go to college:

the weird thing is, about late sunday evening i was thinking about trying out at SWOSU. then, i was thinking, you know maybe SWOSU is where i AM supposed to go, hey, i haven't even heard a response from Baylor yet. i thought that maybe, just maybe if God still wanted me to keep Baylor as an option, he would let me know if i was accepted to Baylor by the end of the week. so, i was about to give up, but i trusted still that God would let me know no matter what. i just had to trust in Him. low and behold, wednesday comes, and i get something from them...but i was disappointed, it was only a letter telling me about a Tulsa visit. so, i just completely forgot about getting an acceptance letter, but i still was trusting in God. the next day, i opened my mail box...and guess what i found (my acceptance letter)! i nearly fell over with excitement! it was AWESOME! i started crying b/c i knew that if i only trusted in God, it would happen...

what an awesome feeling it is to tell this story...i've officially concluded that EVERYTHING is in God's hands...

today was an awesome day!! the only downer was that i was informed by who i thought was going to be my roommate at SWOSU that she found another person to room with. i guess i deserve it after my constant indecision of where i'm going to college. ack!! why can't i know now where i'm going and how i can pay for it?

i've come to the realization that i'm just getting a taste of what life is like. God has a lot in store for me...so, i was thinking the loss of having a certain roommate will now help with not feeling guilt if i actually do go to Baylor. or hey, it'll prepare me for the unexpected....having a bad roommate will be an experience unlike anything else. but who knows?! i may have an awesome one!

well, it's been going well over here. just wanted to express my feelings about today. my mom came into my room thinking i was down (which i'm not!) and brought me half an oreo cookie pie...YUM! i couldn't eat much of it though...after i had just eaten 3 Subway cookies...lol well, now that i'm stuffed and everything. i think i'm going to go now...well, at least from pj. i hope y'all have a wonderful evening! IT SNOWED YESTERDAY AND WE GOT OUT OF SCHOOL FOR IT TODAY!!!! WOOHOO!!!!

*i slept in this morning...and it's a monday!
*i ate macaroni and cheese for lunch!

*i took a hour nap...and i feel great!
*i've actually worked on memorizing my solo for this upcoming district contest...this weekend. i needed to work on it sooner...oh well.
*i'm sleepy again...i think i'll go back to bed soon.
*i need to start a research paper...haha, oh well.

well, we're out of school again today. and we're out of school again tomorrow...BLAH on snow! i'm not living in Alaska when i get old. =) i hope that it goes away soon!!! can't wait for school to come back...i dont' like being home too long. praise the Lord for the time to catch up on my sleep!!!!! nap time! =)

My English teacher rescheduled our research paper b/c we haven't been in school for the past 3 days!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she saved my butt!!!!!!

heheh... that's important I've stayed up 3 days and nights in a row a couple of different times finishing work for school... more time is usually more better

Been there too...procrastinating..but uhh usually the more time I get the more time I seem to need...cause I'll wait for the last and do an all nighter...fortunately...I always managed to produce my best work when in a crunch for time...go figure...why can't I have it more together? Umm well it got me through school so must have done sumtin right...

hehe, crown me the procrastination queen.

hey, y'all. guess what! just yesterday my family and i were shopping at Wally World, and low and behold, my dad goes and looks at the cds...he comes back with the new Audio Adrenaline cd. without even asking me or my younger sister if we wanted it, he put it in the cart. it got me thinking...and praising the Lord...he has been listening to the Christian station a little bit lately...yea!!!! my dad needs Jesus! he's steppin' a little closer! PTL!!!! please be praying for him...he really needs Jesus' comfort.

I went to the Final Round at the Wherehouse last night...guess who won!!!!

SUBSEVEN WON THE WHOLE SHABANG!!!!! were AMAZING! it was a great experience, and the judges had a hard time picking the top band...but it was soo cool to see them all! I'm sooo happy!!!
