Actually, I don't need to do that...(crossing my fingers). God works in funny ways. I was talking to a momma the other day, and (as they sometimes do) she got off of the subject of her child's illness and began to talk about the pressures of finding someone trustworthy and affordable to watch her child. Her parents watch her little girl while she and her husband are at work, but her parents need a break sometimes...
I know that Lissy needs a little extra cash, so I asked her if she would like to watch the kid once a week. She agreed, so I called the momma back and told her. She came in for her well checkup yesterday, and I found out that she (the mother) used to be an aid in my sunday school class when I was little, and that my mother had taught her sunday school class when she was little. When we found all that out, we were a little dumbfounded.
She said that when I had told her that my sister would watch her little girl, she had been praying that God would give her an okay...and that was it!
So now Lissy can start off slow with one day a week, but she does have a job, and will have a little extra income...it's a start!
