Watching the Astros play - they have a new guy named Luke Scott that is TEARING the hide off the baseball - he has been smashing that ball - anyways, I noticed that every time he gets a hit, whenever he gets to stop he points to the sky and says "Thank you Jesus".

My brother and sister-in-law are coming up from FL today to spend my dad's b-day with us. My dad has been ill off and on this year and I am so thankful that he's here to share another b-day with us.

There were lots of kids trick or treating in the neighborhood this evening - we kept the lights off because we forgot to get candy I did get to give one cute angel the only thing I could find - some biscotti I think she actually loved it

One year I completely forgot about Valentine's Day. I sent my kids to school without valentines for the class...I won the mother of the year award that year...

Wow...that's wild. Some cute little angel came home last night and shared her most favorite treat of all of the night with me...some real life Italian Biscotti!! She was so thrilled about it...and I was like, hmmm this is much better than regular candy. I had been craving something sweet (other than candy) all night, so when she shared a little bite with me I thought to myself, "God bless whoever it was that forgot to by candy and had to improvise..." LOL

Glad we could share the blessings
