Finished moving into my new house.

While I'm not settled 100%.... feels good to be in the new place.

Speakinawhich, I've been more gone than here the last few weeks, I should finally be home more than not for the foreseeable future now.... aahhhhhhhhhh

Had an awesome visit with my whole family, but it is always good to be home again.

I surprised myself and I didn't crumble over not having net access for 6 days.

It was great just enjoying the closeness and memories.

Welcome back both of ya (Allen and Embie).

Yeah, the new digs are nice...

Didn't do much settling tonight... but I got my Cable Modem installed.

So I could finally get caught up a bit with work, email and message board posts.

Thank you Lord for the awesome commute home. It took twice as long, but not an accident in sight.

We had a practical test today (Windows2000 Server, installing and configuring IIS, DNS, websites, ftp etc). Everyone was really nervous because you never know what this teacher comes up with... We asked him to be more specific but all he said was "Your hard disk might be empty and you'll have to partition it and install everything again, who knows... and you might not get the same questions either... *smirk* " So I finished it up in about 30 min and then spent one hour trying to figure out why it worked once but not twice... then remembered, because I was pretty sure I had done everything correctly (gotta have the confidence! Thanks God!), that if you log in as admin locally and then try to run the website locally too, the access rights can go

Heard this in church today:

A little boy was Christmas shopping with his mother and notice all the huge letters at all the department stores...S*A*L*E...mistaking the words for Santa Claus.

As it were he came upon one sign that said
G*O*D I*S N*O*W*H*E*R*E...so the little boy asked his mother what it said.

The mother replied "Well son there are two ways you could read it. God is No Where or God is Now Here."

We had an awesome message today as well, and the worship was somehow different, but I can't explain it. The Holy Spirit showed up in a huge way and it was incredible.

Brought my stereo up here to work for the next few weeks... listening to some Christmas music should make the day go much better here

Listening to Songs 4 Worship, visiting with friends online and warm cracklin' fire in the fireplace a few feet away! Life is good .

The weather has been beautiful the last couple of days

Just brought my Christmas tree home and rearranged the furniture...and it all fits

1) Got to take a rare moment and relax with friends at a football game!!!!

2) The weather was da-bomb this weekend!!!!

3) My youngest is preparing to talk and when he gets all bent out of shape because we won't let him do something he raises his little hand and makes a slapping motion and yells DAIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE (die) and we fall all over the ground laughing and he can't figure out what is WRONG with his fool parents!!!!!

I blew off my company Christmas party Saturday night and chose to spend it testing out a new little sushi place in the next town over. It was sooo cool. It is basically an American menu, but everything had a Japanese flare to it. They have a small sushi bar and it was a very intimate setting. I was just a tad underdressed in my jeans and clogs... and when I realized that there was candlelight and long dresses, the seat at the very end of the sushi bar looked most appealing The two sushi chefs were American and the food was incredible. We nearly busted a gut all night and I had a blast. It's so nice to meet new people and get a different perspective on things.

Thank you Lord that one of my insecurities isn't dining alone...

Only 3.5 Hours til more vacation!! If I don't see you or gat to talk with you have a outstandingly blessed holiday. I hope God just knocks your socks off!
