Remembered to finally roll that huge trash can to the curb tonight so it can be picked up tomorrow. It's just me here, and I don't make a lotta trash, but it has been at least a month since I last remembered to do it.

Didn't cheat on my diet today either...

I had really great time with GOD today....very peaceful!!

I took advantage of a sick day and record warm temperatures and hung Christmas lights...and I managed it without ANY bloodshed

I sent a thanksgiving e-card to everyone in the entire hospital,bmt and orange and recieved multiple thank - you's. i also hung my lights, kept my family from arguing (real effort) this holiday, gave advice to my sister and reassured my parents at the same time, and yesterday i didnt break my "new diet".

this is fun !

Okay, where do i start? The thunder kept celeste up all night last night, so I slept, well...not much. Seems like nobody slept too well last night, because everyone in the office was in a sullen mood...and it's all women, so I'm sure you can picture all that estrogen in one room in cranky moods...

Lunch break I checked the mail and realized that my credit card company hasn't rec the check that I mailed on the 5th of this month, so they are charging me a late fee...and I can't use the card till they get my payment...

On my way back from lunch, my gas light came on because I have been putting off getting gas in this weather...so I had to coast to the Conoco and go in since I couldn't use my card...got wet on the way in, wet on the way out, and then when I got in my car I realized that I had left my gas door open so I got out and some jerk passed by me and closed my door locking my keys in my car. Had to call a locksmith who took 45 min to get there and charged me $25 for 2 min worth of work, scratched my window and my car...and the cool front hit while I was waiting for him to get there so I was cold, wet, late and broke.

Oh...no, I'm not in the wrong thread. I got a list of good stuff.

I stayed dry and warm all night tho I was deprived of sleep.
I had a little snuggle partner (even if she does kick).
I woke up this morning.
I have a job to go to.
I have a little girl to go home to for lunch with.
I got a bill in the mail -- not anthrax.
My cell phone company did recieve the payment (that was sent out on the same day as the credit card payment btw ).
I made it to the gas station.
The guy was going to charge me $45
I have a car that I can at least notice when a new scratch appears...(those who have seen my old car will understand that)
When I got back to work I was greeted at the door with a blow dryer, a towel, and a change of clothes a fresh biscuit and a pot of coffee...

Biggest one of all for the day:

I am home.

This is just a big fat praise and a testimony that the Lord's timing is ALWAYS perfect!

I had to make some phone calls to new members of our church inviting them to a welcome dinner. There is no "good" time throughout the day so I just took a minute when I "thought" of it, but there was one number that I just couldn't get through to.

When I finally did reach the woman, she was totally unraveling. She had just gotten off the phone with her son in New Mexico who was in the midst of some huge attacks from the enemy and they were both under such condemnation. She was sobbing...(mind you I have NEVER even met this woman) she told me her entire story start to finish and when she was done we prayed together and she said the she didn't know what to do before I called... She needed prayer and someone to stand with her. Thank you Jesus for using me when I am so unworthy.

God, God, God!!!...We serve an AWESOME GOD!
