Back when I got married (Sept 04) we got restaurant gift cards (and some cash) to give as gifts for those who performed or participated in the ceremony or at the reception. Some people left before we could get their gifts to them so we had ~$250 in cards and cash we had to hold on to until after we got back from the honeymoon.
We have never been able to find them since then. I thought for sure we left them in the room that first morning
I was looking at some wedding/honeymoon pictures tonight trying to decide on which ones we should get prints of when I noticed I took a picture of Melanie right before we left the hotel and in her hand were the gift cards. I took another picture outside the hotel next to my durango (with all the 'just married' writing on it) and she still had the cards in her hand.
I found them among a million insurance/oil change/ tire work/ stand318 biz card/ OneDay 2001 papers in my glovebox tonight
