I have been looking for another job for quited some time now, but I read something recently that helped me change my thinking from, "Help me get another job, Lord" to "Lord, give me the patience and strength to continue doing what I'm doing until Your timing would move me to another job." Thank you God.

I just want to thank Jesus for His continuing faithfulness and answers to prayer. One by one, things have been changing in my life and in my relationships. Worldy things are falling away. We are digging in and drawing near.

It's Labor Day and I made it the whole summer without going to Marble Slab

What's Marble Slab? Ice Cream?

I've been to my favorite Ice Cream Place (Brusters) 4 or 5 times this summer.

I think my child's a genius ! She can point to your nose, eyes, mouth .. when you ask her to. She is starting to immitate sounds (syllables of the sounds) and points to things all over the place when she wants to know what they are ! I think we'll have her reading the New York times next week !
