WOW!!! That sounds like a GREAT place for a vacation embie! Congratulations... you probably should invite some Texans up there to make sure there are no varmints digging through any trash cans sitting around outside Congrats on the job Ashley... convenience is major and keeps you from driving so much on the road at night j/k I planted the first of several trees in my backyard today - a Red Oak tree - once I have it and a few others planted, it will give the neighborhood some much needed color in the fall/early winter. I live in the "Oaks Historic District" here in Old Town and while we have lots of live oak trees, they stay green and these will add some color Also sprayed some weed-and-feed today.. I'm gonna have the nicest yard in the neighborhood this summer

Cool Allen. My mom better start diggin up our yard for her veggie garden. My mom went on a planting spree last year. We have tons of trees... One is named after me . But it has no branches... or leaves... looks like a stick planted in the ground... All the other members of my family's trees are big and branchy. Mine is dead. Figures. I cleaned my room again. And blasted the radio. I love this 6 day weekend. I go back to school on Wednesday. Do you know how many infomercials are on at 2 in the morning? Take a guess... Nope... you're wrong. I counted. 11! 11!!!! That's a lot. Nads hair removal looks interesting. I wonder if I can get my mom to fork $49.99 over. I love all this free time.

Yes Allen, I would LOVE a varmint vacator But I fear Texan blood and sweaters might be a bit too thin for that far North. Still the invite is open ...C'mon UPThe owner came by and showed us their pics and it looks fabulous. A modest Cape Cod style house, gray shakes and country decor, but the view is totally unbelievable. I just can't wait to get there...

Good news: I got the job. I found out on Wendesday. I worked 4-9 on Thursday, and 9-5 today (Which didn't seem quite so long.) Bad news: So there I am, training on the cash register with a lady (In her late 30's), who is very nice. She says "I'll be right back," and doesn't come back. So there I am, with no idea what I'm doing. I have a lady with welfare (Which I have no idea how to do) and someone who wants $20 cash on debit. I don't know how do this... People are starting to get mad, and every five minutes I called over the loud speaker "I need a manager on 6." Needless to say, they were getting annoyed. So, I did what any normal girl would do. I cried. Yes, right there in the middle of the store, with 7 people in my line. I cried. Michelle came back over and says, "Are you okay?... Gosh I'm sorry I left you. Go to the bathroom and get yourself together." So I did. When I came out, Michelle and I talked and she stayed with me for 3 more hours until I was SURE I was ready. And even then, she stayed at the register next to mine. The rest of the day I was fine. Later my friends Stephanie and Kelly came in. Stephanie was crying because she and her boyfriend broke up, and Kelly's rabbit died. So we were all in tears working together on the same register. Some lady walked up and said, "Are you girls alright." We spilled our problems out to this lady we didn't even know. My feet hurt, and I'm tired. I work tomorrow from 5-10. Eh... Well, just thought I'd update you. <---Just want to see what that looks like.

Cool about the job Ash! Do you get to do returns too??? Hey, I had a very cool thing happen tonight. I spent most of the day with my daughter at the library and making a school project. I felt lousy, but since she had this project for 2 months now, and it's due MONDAY, we had to get it done... By then end of the day I was shot and just didn't feel like cooking so we went out for Chinese buffet There was a couple sitting in the next booth and they were playing around with my kids...teasing and laughing with them. So it was time for us to leave and the guy just comes over and grabs our bill. He says, goodnight He wanted to pay our bill. I told him I didn't feel comfortable with that and he just looked at me and said... Well, that's just tuff. ROFL...I looked at the woman and asked.."is he serious"? and she said "Very". So I left the tip and he told the manager that he had the check and we were on our way... How cool is that?

If I ring an item up more than once, on accident, I have to call a manager to take it off. But if they bring stuff back, they have to go to the front line. I found out the cutest guy at work is gay. Oh well... I made rainbow bracelets... maybe he'll want one? Hey, it's a conversation starter. There was something else I was gonna say, but I forget what it is. That's really cool Embie. I wish someone would pay for a few of my expenses. Mom and dad are making me pay for the internet (Since I use it most) now that I have a job. Yay! My first bill.
