After what seems like months of rain, the weather outside is gorgeous!

Tuesday's are half-price day at Dairy Queen!

I noticed my hotmail acct hasn't had any email sent to me in >4 weeks that wasn't spam. Hundreds of emails per day I get are junk - I spent a decent amount of time just deleting the cra-ud. So I finally put it on the "exclusive" filtering where only addresses you want to get email from are allowed.

I haven't got one to that acct since yesterday

Today a couple of my students asked me how old I was?

My reply: How old do you think I am?

26-28?

My reply: Uh huh .

Hey if I'm offered a younger age, don't think I not gonna take it

We're working on learning new music for the worship band at CCC. I've been listening all evening to a compilation cd of tunes we're learning... jason upton, shane barnard, third day, pcd... good times /

I just got an email from one of my childhood pals. We grew up together and he left in like my sophomore year for trade school. (20+ years ago.....) He stumbled across the ministry site and said "Hey, I know that guy" LOLOL I am just hanging out in the flood of memories that seeing his name brings back. Like digging a 4 foot by 4 foot by 5 foot deep hole behind his garage with great plans for a secret underground fort, of course when his folks found out we had to fill it in.... but hey it was a blast anyway! We used to come home from "the ditch" so covered in mud that we had to get hosed off before we were even allowed in the garage LOLOL

The weather is gorgeous...sat on my front porch this am and just took it in for a while. *aaaah* I'm being lazy today and not doing much of anything...and having lots of fun doing nothing.

Wish I could fully appreciate it...
