I would like to start off by saying God is SOOOOO AWESOME!!!! But I wanted to share something that God has been showing me through my quiet time. So many times I find my-self asking God to give me more of him and to fill me up with his spirit. BUT, as I was asking this he revealed to me that If something is not empty, it cannot be filled up. And so, I had to empty myself totally of everything (which took A LOT of work, it's easier said than done) and when I did...WOW...God has done such a work in my life.
But like I said...he couldn't fill me up 'till I had emptied myself completely. And I close with this, A book that I am reading in my devotional says...
"To get there is a question of will, not of debate nor of reasoning, but a surrender of will, an absolute and irrevocable surrender on that point."
So, I guess the praise is that God is doing an awesome work in my life. I have been trying to "re-prioritize" my life for a while and as soon as I stopped trying so hard and let God do it...it happened! And God brought me to a whole new level with him. Go JESUS!!!!! (If I was whit-dawg I would be barking here
)
