Anyone who studies theology knows that they exist, and there are many books that you can read that are very extensive on this topic.

As a definition, Bible codes are encrypted messages of bilblical prophecy hidden within the Bible.

The way these hidden messages are decrypted is by using something called Equidistant Letter Sequence AKA the ELS Theory, which proposed that by counting equal distanes between letters in the original Hebrew Torah, certain words and phrases could be uncovered that bore an undeniable relationship to the surface text.

For Example. take Isaiah 53:10. The surface text paints a picture of a suffering Messiah, but using ELS and counting from the yod (a Hebrew letter) and counting every 20 letters, we find Yeshua Shmi, which means, "Yeshua is my name." And if we look at Zechariah 7:4 and from the first yod count every 5th letter from the right to the left We will find Yeshua. In Leviticus 21:10, counting from heh counting every 3rd letter from right to left, we find hain dam Yeshua, meaning "Behold! The Blood of Yeshua."

The capacity to embed so many, meaningful related, randomly selected word pairs in a body of text with a cohernet surface meaning is stupendously beyond the itellectual capacity of any human being or group of people, however brilliant, and equally beyond the capacity of any conceivable computing device ("Devine Authorship?" Biblical review October 1995)

There are FAR more Bible codes than the few I listed, even relating to 9/11 and the assasination of U.S. Presidents and Israeli PM's.

Bible codes are REAL, and will challenge the most ardent skeptic concerning the origin of the Bible. It will also thrill and encourage the faith of Christians.

KJV is still translated from Hebrew and Greek to English, but the KJV is very archiac in it's writing style, people just don't talk like that anymore.

It's still not the original Hebrew text, or it would be written in Hebrew.

go get the book "His name is Jesus" by Yakov Rambsel(spelling). Goes through old testament equidistant letters in detail. just more proof God is perfect in everything.

Bible Codes are proof that God is REAL! Don't let it creep you out too much, the purpose of these codes is for our faith, and I also beleive that we're close to the rapture (though they have tought this for a looooooooooong time )

Christians need not fret over the end, its to remind us we need to witness more. not to scare us. but wed be sad not to see loved ones, even strangers not in heaven with us. sure, we fear rejection or offending others . I say its worth it if to see them rise up with us upon Jesus' return! [; ID RATHER OFFEND THAN NEVER see em again. BUT HEY, JUST MY OPINION. yes, theres a chance we will suffer for our belief, even persecuted. our bodies here are only earth suits. we dont take with us. just our heavely body will rise[that i know of]. personsally, id rather be hurt here than live in hell later for refusing , denying like peter did . he had grace then. we cant take that chance for granted. may not have a chance to beg forgiveness if we deny Him. hope not too scary for ya. our side WINS!

My dad said (I don't agree w/ everything he says, but this is his opinion) that the Bible code is of the devil. It's like witch craft. It's another way to try to decifer our futures just like a palm reader, etc, etc. Idk... I've gotten too close to getting into some wicked stuff. I try to stay away from anything I know would bring me into it. I know it would be WAY too easy for me to get hooked.

not sure codes could be of the devil, the movie version may imply that. I see it as the 7th signs before rapture, like warnings for us Christians to witness to more , be better witnesses to others before they run out of time. we know where we are going. evil things will happen to, the devil will try harder to keep us from telling truth. even persecution for being Godly. the mark could be anything, a number , tattoo, bar codes on our hands to identify us, itll start out as to help us with fast checkouts at grocery, like a vchip. but also a way to trace us. hope not. just an observation. Id like to hear others thoughts on this subject. I want to be wrong about the mark.

your dad is wrong, clinging... codes are not scarey.God is giving wisdom and the codes are proof , further proof of His perfection. if you want to comment any further on this topic please do alittle internet search and read up a little.it is fascinating to the Christian...not scary, not devil , not evil, not witch craft. iT IS OF GOD AND ONLY GOD.

I know what the Bible code is, and I don't agree with it. However, I do see where you're coming from. At the same time God isn't going to dish the answers out to us, and in that way it is like getting your fortune told. When you look for ex. your name in the Bible with the Bible Code. I'm just taking what I have learned from the adults around me. With the Bible Code you're supposed to be able to look up ANY word, and see if you can find it. Therefore giving you the ability to see if your name or something shows up in the Bible. From my father's message I get that it's like getting your fortune told in that way. You look to see if you can find something foretold. That's just my opinion... I'd rather not get into an arguement.
