Hey, i was curious to know what you guys might have to say about this....What was Jesus like when He was a teen? There is a huge gap in Jesus life in the Bible. It went from 12 straight to somewhere around his 30s.Did He not perform miracles during His teen years important enough to write about? Were those His hermit years where he stayed alone somewhere to study for the things that were to come? Did He just stay where He was with His family and learn from them about life and about who He was? Did he know HE was the son of God? This really struck me as an interesting Bible Study because alot of teens think that they are alone when it comes to their difficulties in life and God. I think that maybe because it doesnt say anything about Jesus as a teen that its hard to relate to what HEs saying in the Bible. What do you guys think?

I do know that he didn't perform any miracles at all during those years...His first miracle was after his baptism when He turned water into wine. For some reason I think that I heard somewhere that during those years he was preparing, learning, and working with his earthly father Joseph...I don't think he was a "hermit", but I don't think he "hung out" with the kids either...

Thats what I said....The question was thrown out at me and some friends of mine while we were at Church and It really made me think. I mean kids who dont read the Bible really wouldnt know much about what Jesus might have been like because they dont know the story about His first miracle. I just thought that it was interesting....

Also about the question whether or not he knew who he was...that whole story about when he was young and his parents couldn't find him and they finally caught up with him in the temple...they asked him what he was doing and he told them that he was doing his Father's business...
So he clearly knew who he was and what his purpose was here on earth.
