I've been thinking about this for a while now, but after last night, I figure now is a good time to ask:
What is the difference between those who have the gift of healing (spoken of in ICorinthians) and the signs that accompany belivers (spoken of in Mark)?

Because ICorinthians 12:28-31 that not all have the gift of healing (or any of the other gifts discussed), but in Mark 16:17 it says that healing is one of the signs that will accompany those who believe in His name...
So what is the purpose of the gift of healing when not everyone has it if all believers will be able to lay hands on the sick and they will recover?

I am really curious about this...so, what do you guys think?

HELLO! ABOUT YOUR QUESTION, WE ALL CAN HEAL YOUR RIGHT ABOUT THAT. BUT GOD HAS GIVEN SPECIAL GIFTS TO EACH ONE OF US. YOU KNOW I CAN PREACH OR TEACH BUT MY GIFT IS TO PRAY. I CAN DO ALL THE GIFTS IN THE WORD BUT ONE IS MORE STRONG THAN THE OTHER. I OPERATE IN PRAYER ALOT MORE THAN THE OTHER THINGS. DO I DOUBT THAT I CAN PREACH OR TEACH OR HEAL OR BE A MISSIONARY ETC.... NO!! BUT I KNOW MY GIFT IS PRAYER!!!! SO I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THAT A LITTLE MORE!!!

Corinthians seems to be saying that while we may not all exercise our God-given gifts, we should still:

But eagerly desire the greater gifts. And now I will show you the most excellent way.


It looks like the greater gifts are available, but have no power unless we exercise them, use them...
