I am busy uploading files to our new server as I type (I am ambidextrous ). We should be on there sometime in the next 2-3 days as the internet picks up our new address. You can get a sneak peek before then by going to here : (sorry, link taken down until the site is a leetle more presentable)

Depending on when you access it, it will be in varying stages of completion. It is much faster and much more stable than the one we are on right now.

Do not post in the forums there until we give the go ahead with an announcement @ the top of the forums, as your post will likely be erased when we finish uploading all the messages from this server there (yes, we will get everyone's uploaded, it might take a few minutes tho, this old server is trying to get on my nerves).

After we open for business I will be able to put quite a few more pictures up, the gallery will be filled and other stuff will get more too. The new newsletter (which you should be recieving any day now) will be online, more stuff, blah blah blah, and such.

In the next 2 weeks there will be a major redesign of the site itself, it will be tres cool. Our dawg is working on some graphics that will melt your monitor. Expect the unexpected.

We will be integrating other local ministries into the new site and more secret stuff I can't mention yet due to their highly classified nature.

Keep your hat on for a wild ride in June...

chat rooms are definitely in our future, just not right now...we aren't busy enough for chat rooms, nobody would make time for a chat room if you were the only one there.

One thing that might be possible would be for us to schedule chats at certain times, but even then, it would be difficult...

we will have them, I promise, it just ain't time yet...

in checking, I see that we can get a good dedicated server for ~ $300 / month... this will allow us to get our radio station up and running first class, plus allow for pretty much unlimited expansion of our online ministry...

what do you guys think?

our present amount of traffic will pay for the server, if we start advertising on the site....

....off to get some more of the newsletter put up...

actually, that sounds real cool, it should be much faster than the one we are having to share right now.
my only problem with the advertising would be what kind of ads we would have to view. I really don't want to have to see ads for free psychic readings. but other stuff like music, etc would be cool

Yes, I didn't forget this topic. It looks like after all this time, we are finally gonna make that jump and get a server, tho we will be sharing it with 2-3 other sites. It will be much faster and a lot more stable than this site has been in the last few weeks... tho it still won't be idiot-proof

I will let you guys know when we are moving, the site may be down an hour or so while I change the settings, but back stronger than ever....
