Well once again it is time for our anniversary at Crosby Church. We will be eight years old this month!! For our anniversary we have an open celebration called "Cowboy Sunday" Just dress up in your best country or old west clothes and come on down and hang with us. We are having services next week Wednesday Thur, and Friday and the Big celebration on Sunday. We will be renting the Crosby Rodeo arena to hold all the people, with food afterwards. Bring your unsaved friends and expect a good time! Call the church office to get your free meal tickets in advance! (281-328-1310)

The weekday services will start at 7:00pm and Sunday will be at 2:00pm.

I will be there for most of Fridays (will have to leave early for work) and all of Sundays. I am telling you we pass like ships in a fog!!!!! Just ask for me at the visitor desk, I will check in there from time to time.

"OK, you drive down the highway that goes past the San Jacinto Mall... the one with the Foleys that has all those neat little nick-nacks you can put in your bathroom? you would love them girl! OK, you drive past that long enough to get your make-up done, oh, about 40 minutes then start looking on the right - there's a Piggly-Wiggly that has chicken breast stir-fry on for $1.38/lb - makes the best just-like-home-cooked chinese dinner if you go by the Krogers and get some of their fresh snow-peas to go with it. They're only 78 cents/lb and are good for you too... I was reading this article last friday in Cosmo that said snow peas were good for your skin if you cooked them over a low-flame for 15 minutes with a half-cup of peanut oil and a sprig of parsely, I am gonna have to try that out sometime.

Anyways, what were we talking about? Oh yeah, after you pass Krogers, turn left at the next street, there's a lovely house 3 doors down on the left with the most exquisite landscaping up front. Drive another 20 minutes to get back to the highway then turn right and go a ways... I am not sure how far, but you'll pass a McDonalds on the left (or as it a Burger King? - I don't quite remember but they have the best french fries if you get the ketchup they have at Dairy Queen for them). Anyways, I am trying to lose weight, so you better get the chicken from KFC across the street, original recipe.

OK, turn left at the stop sign and drive past 2 car dealerships, 4 gas stations, and a Stein Mart (they have the best stuff at great prices, tell me if you see anything nice on sale there). Or was it 3 gas stations and a Chinese food restaurant? Girl.. I am getting hungry again, stop in and get me some wonton soup while you are there...

About 30 more minutes on the next highway and you'll see the mall on your left. I'll be waiting in the food court.
