I live in Stockholm, and this is the view from my window



I have an apartment and the house was built in 1929. Wooden floors, white walls and gas-stove

I live in Connecticut in the Northwest Hills.

I rent a home with my two kids Rachel and Michael.

We inherited Sonny (our kitty) and Beebs (our doggie)

I was only planning to get a couple shots of the tree to show it growing over the next couple years - they are supposed to grow relatively fast for a tree I'll be planting a few more down the side there toward the front yard.

I'll take some decent shots of the neighborhood this weekend

I took that pic a couple of days ago and what happens? We get a snow storm *ugh* back to winter.... I'll take a new pic tomorrow if the snow is still there

we've been getting some rain, so my next pics should have green instead of brown grass

danke It's an old one.... had real nice landscaping when I bought it, but the guy who worked on it cut a lot of it down right before closing - it's taking me a while to do something about it...

I noticed earlier this week my little tree is sprouting quite a few leaf buds... I'll take a picture so you can see how much my baby has grown

I found quite a few pictures today after working on cleaning off my desk, I'll put them up tomorrow along with a couple of my growing tree

That is Lake Waramaug in the Litchfield Hills. It's about 20 minutes from where I live right now. Simply gorgeous in every season...

Yes, my tree died quite a while back. It was green and growing, then one day I noticed some brown toward the top, in a week's time it was dead dead dead

Anyways, I am gonna get a few to replace that one this fall so they'll be ready for the summer months.
