Ahh, pardon me, I must modify my statement. It is true that certain bacteria mutate to develop a resistance to a certain antibiotic. But that does not make them any more complex, and in fact is harmful to the higher orders of creatures which the bacteria infects. Immunity is not a mutation.

Hi all,
Just thought I would post a quick note...our debate has fizzled somewhat, due to my lack of participation, but I have been gone...I recently lost 2 "brothers in arms" to a diving accident and a parachuting accident, so I was away dealing with that...anyway, just saying hi, and hoping that, someday soon, we can continue our lively debate.
